The Gypsy King firstly had to be restrained by security after he squared-up to Braun Strowman at ringside during an appearance on last week’s SmackDown.

After becoming the No.1 social media trend worldwide, Fury followed that up by appearing on Monday Night Raw to demand an apology from the Monster Among Men.

However, Strowman was in no mood to say sorry and the two began trading blows before they were eventually separated by a large number of WWE superstars – although Cesaro did feel the wrath of the British boxer’s fist as he was KOed.

Fury, who is aiming for a February 22 rematch against WBC champion Deontay Wilder, will now attend a press conference in Las Vegas on Friday where it is expected to be confirmed he will take on Strowman at WWE’s Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia on October 31.

But after suffering two deep cuts in his victory over Otto Wallin last month that required over 40 stitches, Warren is terrified Fury could re-open those wounds and scupper his title shot against the Bronze Bomber.

Speaking to The Metro, the veteran promoter said: “Tyson Fury loves it. That brawl clip doing the rounds on social media has something like 4 million views.

“His profile gets bigger every time and he’s doing us promoters a real favour by going on WWE. But truthfully, I don’t like the risk of his cut opening up.

“I’m still awaiting the call from Tyson to tell me he’s finished with this WWE stuff.”

The 67-year-old added: “Tyson’s a law unto himself. It’s risky though, no doubt about that.

“In an ideal world I’d prefer he didn’t do it, but it’s all about the bigger picture for him. He’s a natural wrestling star.”
