Bombshell: Michael Cohen’s full statement to Congress is a 20-page testimony telling of cheating, lies, racism and possible crime
Donald Trump‘s former fixer details in a 20-page statement his regret at working for the now president for a decade – and provides a jaw-dropping account of lies, cheating, racism and possible criminality.
The testimony, published shortly before Cohen appeared in front of the House Oversight Committee, includes a claim that the president signed a $35,000 check to his then attorney while he was in office to cover the cost of paying off Stormy Daniels.
Cohen includes the check in his testimony as evidence – although it is only his word that serves for its purpose. Trump and his attorneys have not commented on their version of what the money was for.
The account also alleges misconduct by Trump for the more than a decade that Cohen worked for him, and details claims of racism including that Trump said black people did not have the intelligence to vote for him.
Here is his full statement.
