TV viewers are outraged by a new teen drama featuring full frontal nudity, graphic sex, and a shocking rape scene.
Euphoria, starring former Disney actress Zendaya, premieres on HBO this coming Sunday, and while its trailer shows some explicit moments, a new article in The Hollywood Reporter is dishing extra details on the show’s R-rated impulses.
The series will follow a group of troubled high school students, and its pilot episode will include a ‘choking’ sex scene between teens, as well as the statutory rape of a 17-year-old trans character.
The shocking scene reportedly features an erect prosthetic penis, which will be worn by actor Eric Dane, 46, who plays the perverted assailant.
Additionally, the pilot will show Zendaya’s character suffering from a drug overdose – something that may shock fans of the 22-year-old actress who is best known for her role in the squeaky-clean Disney sitcom Shake It Up.

Meanwhile, The Hollywood Reporter claims that the second episode of the series will feature a locker room scene that shows 30 penises.
Series creator Sam Levinson conceded to the publication that ‘there are going to be parents who are going to be totally f**king freaked out’.
Parents Television Council president Tim Winter has already slammed the series, saying it ‘appears to be overtly, intentionally marketing extremely graphic adult content — sex, violence, profanity and drug use — to teens and preteens’.
Several TV fans on Twitter shared the same sentiment, taking to social media to express their disgust with the series.
‘Another Hollywood Freakshow (sic) Depicting Deviant Behavior A Normal…’ one wrote, before adding the pro-Donald Trump hashtag ‘#MAGA’.

Another tweeted: ‘What is the point of this show? And why can’t anything be left to ones’ imagination?’
While HBO is known for its high-brow shows, several of its series have pushed the envelope by depicting nudity and graphic sex, including Game of Thrones, Girls and Sex and the City.
However, Euphoria seems to be a step too far, with one subscriber vowing to dump the cable-network in light of the raunchy new show.
‘Definitely too much for me. Will cancel my subscription’, they wrote.
However, Euphoria has certainly attracted the interest of others on social media, who will be tuning in to the pilot episode on Sunday.
And while HBO may have lost one subscriber, they have kept one and added another thanks to the new series.
‘I thought I could cancel the HBO subscription after Game of Thrones, but Zendaya in Euphoria is something I can’t miss,’ a Twitter user exclaimed.
‘I can’t believe I’m really about to pay for an HBO subscription just to see Miss Zendaya in Euphoria. My banks account is gonna hate to see it, but it must be done,’ another enthused.
